As you can tell from the pictures, this North Salt Lake custom home was a massive undertaking. It sits on a 2 acre (double) lot and the house will end up with over 17,000 sqft. We were awarded both the excavation as well as footings/foundation on this job.

EXCAVATION

The earth moving on this home was a big undertaking. We were excavating on a sloped lot up along the bench in North Salt Lake and had to do multiple cuts to get down to grade safely. We ended up excavating 22,028 cubic yards of material - that's just to get down to the grade of footings.

We also installed a french drain on this property along with power, water, and sewer lines, a storm drain system, and an E1 high pressure sewer pump.

FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATION

Our crew poured over 1,700 yards of concrete. Due to the extensive ​size of this project the foundation walls were done in multiple stages. Parts of our foundation wall were anywhere from 25' up to 38' tall in some spots and we poured this in five different phases - the biggest of which saw us pour over 400 cubic yards of concrete in a single day. Our materials and laborers are of the highest quality and that gets reflected in every detail of our concrete work.
